Earth Day Clean-Up 2023
Diplomatic Language Services is thrilled to announce the success of our 2023 DLS Adopt-A-Highway clean-up on Earth Day! Our team of six dedicated volunteers took on the task of cleaning up the stretch of Route 50 we adopted. We are proud to report that our team collected a total of 18 bags of trash.
This year’s clean-up was a continuation of work towards protecting our environment and preserving the natural beauty of our community. We understand the importance of caring for our planet and are so grateful to make a positive impact. It was certainly heartwarming to see the enthusiasm of our team as they worked tirelessly to clean up the roadside, picking up everything from discarded bottles to plastic bags and even old tires. It was a humbling reminder that every small action we take can make a big difference in the health of our planet.
The Adopt-A-Highway clean-up event directly aligns with our Corporate Social Responsibility plan. As part of our CSR initiatives, we aim to contribute to the well-being of our community and the environment. By participating in the Adopt-A-Highway program, we actively demonstrate our commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement. Our Adopt-A-Highway program is one of the many ways that we commit to making a difference in our community. We believe that working together and taking small steps toward positive change can create a better world for future generations.
