Last week, DLS hosted a cultural celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
Muslims from all over the world celebrate by breaking the fasting month of Ramadan.
Everyone enjoyed a large spread of authentic Afghan cuisine, while learning how different cultures celebrate Eid by visiting cultural tables. Tables were meticulously decorated and represented by students and instructors, who were also dressed in traditional attire.
Attendees were engaged by musical and instrumental performances and informational presentations prepared and delivered by students and instructors. After the performances, everyone enjoyed the well-anticipated egg cracking game followed by henna!
Thank you all to the language groups who participated to make this another great celebration!
