The DLS Quality Assurance System
Translation - DLS uses only qualified and experienced translators, most with State Department or ATA (American Translators Association) certification. The DLS Quality Assurance System consists of a number of important factors and steps: · A job tracking system which ensures deadlines are met and nothing is overlooked · Translation by a qualified translator · Editing by a second translator · Proofreading by a DLS Quality Control Manager · Complete electronic and hard-copy files for all projects Language Training - DLS uses only qualified, native-speaker instructors. DLS Language Training Supervisors (LTS) provide the oversight necessary to ensure the success of the language training programs: · Classes are observed weekly or bi-weekly. · Weekly Student Evaluation Reports and Weekly Classroom Activity Reports are prepared by the instructor and reviewed by the LTS. · To provide DLS with student feedback, a monthly questionnaire is given to students. · Students are given proficiency tests every 8 - 10 weeks. · Students are receive a final proficiency test and an End-of-Training Report.
